About Me
Building a Future Where Sign Language Belongs
Hi, I'm Jeff! I'm a full-stack developer, AI enthusiast, and entrepreneur building sign language-first apps, games, and platforms that improve access and representation for signers.
As co-founder of GoSign.AI with Ryan Hait-Campbell, I work to bridge the gap in AI and accessibility by collecting high-quality sign language data and designing tools tailored for signers. The digital world is built on spoken and written language data—our mission is to ensure sign languages are equally represented.
I engineer data pipelines that power our AI models, from video collection to machine learning inference, enabling sign language recognition, translation, and generation. I also develop accessible games like Play With ASL and freelance on sign language-first apps.
I advocate for sign language equity in AI through the Coalition for Sign Language Equity in Technology. Outside of tech, I love kayaking and tabletop gaming—always seeking the next adventure!
