Read about a way-too-ambitious goal of mine. Probably on par with thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail. Can I channel my inner Twain?

Goal: Erie Canal
One cool thing I’d like to do, that seems within the realm of possibility, is kayak the length of the Erie Canal. And possibly the Hudson River too.
Goal: Finger Lakes
The Finger Lakes are basins carved into the countryside of New York State by the glaciers’ heavy hand. My goal is to circumnavigate all of them by kayak. So far, 5 out of 11.
Kayaking
Ahh…kayaking… there’s nothing like gliding along glass, peacefully observing flora and fauna in its daily business, and exploring far-flung corners of our waters.
